Claude Connector

Cloudflow Claude

Note: The Cloudflow connector is added to Claude as a custom connector using the address below. A listing in Claude's connector directory is planned.

The Cloudflow connector lets you work with your Cloudflow data from Claude. Ask about today's schedule, find a customer or job, check a technician's day, review invoices and charges, or log a note without leaving the conversation. Claude acts as you, so it can only see and do what your Cloudflow role allows.

Connect Cloudflow to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector and enter this address: https://app.cloudflowtechnology.com/api/mcp
  3. Sign in to Cloudflow when asked.
  4. Review the request and choose which organizations Claude can use, then select Authorize.

Choose which organizations to share

If you belong to more than one organization, the authorization screen asks whether to share all organizations or selected organizations. Claude can only work in the organizations you share. If you share one organization, you do not need to name it in your requests.

To change your choice later, remove the connector in Claude and connect it again.

What Claude can read

  • Services (jobs): search by keyword, status, service type and date range; open one service; list services scheduled in a date range; see activity and notes you are allowed to read.
  • Customers and technicians: search, open a record, view a technician's schedule and time off.
  • Invoices and charges: search invoices, open an invoice with its individual charge line items, and list the charges on a service along with the invoice each one was billed on.
  • Statistics: service and invoice counts.
  • Your organizations and configured service statuses.

Invoice and charge details show amounts, quantities, discounts, status and dates. They do not include internal costs, commissions, margins or payment links.

What Claude can change

Claude can create a customer, create a service, add a note to a service, change a service's status, set a service's date and time, and assign a technician.

Cloudflow's normal rules apply to every change. Status changes can trigger your organization's automations and notifications, and assigning a technician emails them, just as in the app. Notes added through Claude stay in Cloudflow and are not sent to external claims systems.

Claude does not delete records, take payments or move money, or send invoices.

Approvals and tool permissions

In Claude's connector settings, Cloudflow's tools are split into read-only tools and tools that change data. For each tool you can choose to always allow it, ask for approval each time, or block it. Tools that change data ask for your confirmation by default.

Permissions

Claude uses your Cloudflow role. If your role cannot read invoices, for example, the invoice tools will tell you they are unavailable. Tools that read services, customers or technicians require access to all of them, not only the ones assigned to you.

Limits and privacy

  • Requests are rate limited per user to protect your data and keep Cloudflow responsive. If you reach a limit, Claude is told how long to wait.
  • Cloudflow records which tool was used, by whom and when. It does not record the content you asked about.
  • You can disconnect Cloudflow at any time from Claude's connector settings.

Troubleshooting

  • Authorization failed: remove the connector in Claude and add it again. Make sure you are signed in to the Cloudflow account you want to use.
  • Claude says an organization is not shared: reconnect and choose that organization on the authorization screen.
  • A tool says it is unavailable to your role: ask an administrator to review your role and permissions.
  • You see a rate limit message: wait the time shown, then try again.

If a problem continues, contact Cloudflow support and include what you asked Claude to do and the time it happened.
