Scheduling Conflicts
The scheduling conflicts report shows time slots where more services are booked than you have technicians available. Use it to catch double-booking early and to rebalance work in Dispatch.
Where to find it
- On the Insights page, a "flagged services" item appears under attention items when conflicts exist in the next 90 days. Select it to open the report, titled Flagged scheduling conflicts.
- The report is also reachable from Reports.
You need permission to view operational reports. The report is part of plans that include Reports.
How conflicts are detected
For each market, Cloudflow compares the services booked in a time window with the technicians who could take them. A window is flagged when demand is higher than supply. Technicians are not counted as available when they are:
- Inactive
- Outside their scheduled working hours or on a break
- On approved time off
- Already on an overlapping service
- At their daily capacity
Each flagged row shows the date, time, markets, and a capacity figure for demand against supply.
Review a conflict
- Set a date range (up to 366 days) and select Apply dates, or leave the default of the next 90 days including today.
- Narrow the list with the Market selector or the search box (jobs, customers, technicians).
- Select a row to open Scheduling conflict details. You will see the affected services, who is assigned, and the technicians across the markets with their availability and daily workload.
- Open Dispatch from the details to reassign or reschedule.
- Use Export CSV to download the list (shown if you can export reports).
Dismiss a conflict
If a flagged service is not actually a problem, select Dismiss conflict next to it. That service will not be flagged for that window again, but it will reappear if a new conflict occurs.
Technician capacity
Daily capacity is the maximum number of services a technician can take in one day. Set it in the Technicians list. A technician who reaches capacity shows as "Daily capacity reached", and one who is over it shows "Over daily capacity".
Tips
- The report is cached for about a minute. Changes you make in Dispatch can take a moment to appear; use Refresh conflicts to update sooner.
- If a report is too large, narrow the date range or choose a market.
- Keep technician schedules, time off, and capacity current so the report reflects reality.
