Leads

Leads bring your sales prospects into one place. Door-to-door sales pins and instant-estimate requests from customers appear together in a single list and on a territory map, so you can follow up, add a location, and turn a lead into a service or a proposal.

Where to Find Leads

Open Sales > Leads in the sidebar. The page has three parts:

  • Overview cards and charts: total leads, new leads in the last 14 days, follow-ups with no service yet, and how many leads have been converted to a service. Two charts show lead activity over 14 days and the current status of the leads you are viewing. An expandable section at the bottom covers canvassing performance reports for sales pins.
  • Leads table: one row per lead with name, source, status, property address, and the date it was added. Select a name to open the lead.
  • Territory map: every lead that has a location, with a count of mapped and unmapped leads. The 3D and satellite buttons change the map view.

Lead Sources

  • Sales pins: leads your team drops while canvassing or creating a lead by hand. Statuses are Not home, Not interested, Interested, Follow up, Sold, Lead created, and Estimate created.
  • Instant estimates: requests submitted by customers for an instant estimate. Statuses are New, Viewed, Contacted, Scheduled, Converted, and Lost. They also carry the customer's selected services, estimate totals, preferred contact method, and answers to your property questions.

Seeing and editing instant-estimate leads requires estimate/quote permissions for your whole organization (or an owner role). Everyone with access to Leads can work with sales pins.

Find and Filter Leads

Use the search box for names or addresses, or open Filters to filter by source or status and to change the sort order (Created date, Last updated, or Name). Active filters appear as chips above the table, and Clear resets them. The charts, cards, and map follow your filters.

Add a Lead

  1. Select New lead, or click a spot on the territory map to start a lead at that location.
  2. Enter the contact and property details. If you started from the map, Cloudflow tries to fill in the street address for you; review it before saving.
  3. Select Create lead.

Leads without a map location show an Add location link in the table. Search for a verified map location on the lead, or enter latitude and longitude together. Updating the street address does not move the map pin on its own.

Work a Lead

Open a lead to edit contact details, status, address, and notes. Instant-estimate leads also let you set a follow-up date and adjust quantities and prices. If someone else edits the lead while you have it open, Cloudflow asks you to reload before saving so changes are not overwritten.

From the lead page you can:

  • Convert to service: creates a service from the lead and keeps its contact information and charges. After conversion, the button becomes View service. Requires permission to create services.
  • Create proposal: starts a proposal for this lead and its customer. See Proposals. Requires permission to create proposals.
  • Delete lead: removes the lead. This cannot be undone and is not available once the lead has a service.

Save your changes before converting or creating a proposal.

Tips

  • Add a location to every lead you want to see on the Territory map.
  • Use the Follow up status or a follow-up date to keep the Follow-ups card meaningful.
  • Older links to leads from the previous sales pin and instant-estimate screens still open the matching lead.
