Materials workflows help teams manage product catalogs, supplier options, pricing, and job-connected ordering.

Material Catalog

The material catalog stores organization-owned items, supplier options, pricing, product matches, and supporting metadata.

Supplier Integrations

Supplier providers can expose accounts, locations, products, availability, order templates, invoices, pricing, webhooks, and order history through provider-specific routes.

Using the Materials Page

Open Materials in the sidebar to browse the catalog. The page now opens showing items of every status, and you can narrow the list with Filters (for example by status) and the search box; active filters appear as chips you can remove or clear. Use Add catalog item to search a connected supplier's catalog or create an internal material manually.

Supplier connections load alongside the catalog. If some supplier details cannot be loaded, the page shows a notice with a retry option instead of blocking the catalog.

Open an item to manage its measurement coverage (for example how much area one purchase unit covers) and supplier details. Coverage can be entered by hand or filled from the linked supplier product, and it is used to turn measurements into quantities on proposals. Use Refresh pricing to update supplier pricing for an item, or Refresh all prices for the catalog. Displayed costs use your saved unit cost first and fall back to the best supplier price.

Service Ordering

Services can have supplier orders tied directly to the job. Use this when materials need to follow the service lifecycle rather than live in a separate purchasing process. On a service, the Materials tab lets you match materials to supplier products, check availability and pricing, and submit an order. For a step-by-step example, see ABC Supply.

Implementation Note

Supplier endpoints are not part of the first public Cloudflow API reference unless they are promoted into the public contract. Keep provider setup and operational docs separate from the initial public API surface.
